- Saigon Central Mosque: built in 1935 at 66 Dong Du Street, the best-known mosque in the city centre.

Halal Food and Muslim Travel Notes
- Halal meals: lunches and dinners in Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi, the Mekong Delta, Hoi An, Hanoi and Tam Coc are served at halal restaurants with certified halal food. See our guide to halal restaurants in Saigon.
- At Ba Na Hills: lunch is a buffet inside the resort that is not halal-certified, so we recommend choosing from its seafood and vegetarian dishes.
- On the Halong Bay cruise: Halong Phoenix Cruise has no halal kitchen, so meals on board are seafood or vegetarian with no meat. A cruise with a halal kitchen, such as Mon Chéri Cruises, can be booked at extra cost.
- Mosques: the tour visits Saigon Central Mosque on day 1 and Al-Noor Mosque, the only mosque in northern Vietnam, on day 6.
- Dress code: shoulders and knees covered at mosques, temples and pagodas, including Vinh Trang and Linh Ung.
Who This Tour Suits – and Who Should Choose Another
- Good for: a first trip to Vietnam with ten days to spare, families with children aged 5 and over, couples and friends who want the main sights of all three regions without overnight trains or long drives.
- Choose another tour if you have only eight days and can skip central Vietnam – the Ho Chi Minh – Hanoi Muslim Tour Package 8 Days keeps Saigon, Tam Coc and Halong Bay – or if you want a beach stop, in which case the Vietnam Muslim Tour Package 12 Days adds Nha Trang.
- Not included: the domestic flights Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang and Da Nang – Hanoi (quoted once your dates are fixed), drinks, beach time and dinners on six evenings. The cruise and the shuttle bus to Halong Bay are shared.
Is 10 Days Enough for Vietnam?
Ten days is enough for a well-rounded first visit to Vietnam. You spend three days around Ho Chi Minh City, two in central Vietnam and four in the north, including a night on Halong Bay, and the two flights each take a little over an hour. The pace is fuller in Hoi An, which you see in an afternoon and evening, so many travellers add one more night there.
Ten days is not enough to add the mountains of Sapa or a beach stay without dropping something else. If you want Nha Trang as well, look at our 12-day package; if you want more time in Hanoi, add a free day at the end before your flight home.
Customize Your Vietnam Muslim Tour Package 10 Days
- Reverse the route – arrive in Hanoi and fly home from Ho Chi Minh City – to suit your international flights.
- Add a second night in Hoi An, a beach day in Da Nang, or the Cao Dai Temple on the Cu Chi day.
- Upgrade to 4-star or 5-star hotels, or to a cruise with a halal kitchen such as Mon Chéri Cruises.
- Travel to Halong Bay by private car instead of the shuttle bus, or stay a second night on the bay.

Local Expert Notes
By Jimmy, Saigon Muslim Tours
- The Independence Palace is open every day from 7:00 to 18:00 and the War Remnants Museum from 7:30 to 17:30, so a morning arrival on day 1 leaves time for both.
- Hoi An and Da Nang are wettest in October and November, when the Ancient Town can flood; February to April is usually the most pleasant time in central Vietnam.
- From June to September, storms can close Halong Bay to cruises at short notice. If that happens, we move the cruise to another day or suggest an alternative.
- Notre-Dame Cathedral in Saigon is under restoration, with completion expected around 2027 or later, so you see it from the square outside.

FAQs
1. What does the Vietnam Muslim Tour Package 10 Days include?
Private guides and cars in each region, airport transfers, 8 hotel nights with breakfast, 1 night on a shared Halong Bay cruise in a private cabin, 9 lunches and 3 dinners, entrance fees, the Mekong Delta boat and bottled water. International and domestic flights, visa, travel insurance, drinks and tips are not included.
2. How much does the 10-day Vietnam Muslim tour cost?
Prices start from USD 814 per person and depend on group size, hotel class and travel dates; see the full price table in the Price tab. The two domestic flights are quoted separately. Contact us for the best price with your dates and number of travellers – we usually reply within 24 hours.
3. Is the food halal on this tour?
Lunches and dinners in Saigon, Cu Chi, the Mekong Delta, Hoi An, Hanoi and Tam Coc are certified halal, served at halal restaurants. Two exceptions: the Ba Na Hills buffet is not halal-certified, so you choose seafood and vegetarian dishes, and the Halong Bay cruise has no halal kitchen, so meals on board are seafood or vegetarian with no meat.
4. Is this a private tour or a shared group tour?
The guides and cars are private to your group in every region. The Halong Bay cruise and the shuttle bus to the bay are shared, with your own private cabin on board.
5. How much walking is involved?
Moderate walking in Saigon, Hoi An, Ba Na Hills and Hanoi’s Old Quarter; the Mekong and Tam Coc boat trips are relaxing. Going underground at Cu Chi and kayaking on Halong Bay are optional.
6. What is the best time for a 10-day trip through Vietnam?
February to May usually suits all three regions. Central Vietnam is wettest in October and November, Saigon has short afternoon rain from May to November, and storms can affect Halong Bay cruises from June to September.
7. Can children join this tour?
Yes, for children from about 5 years old. Children under 6 sharing their parents’ room are free; see the children policy in the Price tab for older children.
8. Can we reverse or change the route?
Yes. You can arrive in Hanoi and finish in Ho Chi Minh City, add nights in Hoi An or Da Nang, upgrade hotels or switch to a halal-kitchen cruise. Tell us what you need.
9. Should we choose this tour or the 9-day Vietnam package?
The Vietnam Muslim Tour Package 9 Days runs from Hanoi to Saigon and costs less, but skips the Independence Palace, the War Remnants Museum and Tam Coc. This 10-day tour includes all three at a slightly easier pace.
10. How do I book this tour?
Send your travel dates and group size through the Tour Inquiry form or on WhatsApp (+84 88 626 1368). We usually reply within 24 hours with a quote and itinerary; see our deposit and payment policy.
