Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which destinations in southern Vietnam are best for Muslim travellers?

Ho Chi Minh City is the best base: it has Saigon Central Mosque and the widest choice of halal restaurants. From there, the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Mekong Delta and the Cao Dai Temple are easy day trips, and Mui Ne, Da Lat and Nha Trang suit longer trips.

2. How many days do I need for Ho Chi Minh City and the south?

Two to three days covers Saigon, the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. Allow five to seven days to add Mui Ne, Da Lat or Nha Trang.

3. Where is the main mosque in Ho Chi Minh City?

Saigon Central Mosque is at 66 Dong Du Street in the city centre (Sai Gon ward, former District 1), a short walk from Nguyen Hue walking street. Several smaller mosques serve the Cham Muslim community elsewhere in the city.

4. Can I visit the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta in one day?

Yes. Our private Cu Chi Tunnels – Mekong Delta day tour visits both with a halal lunch, but it is a long day. If you have time, see them on separate days.

5. When is the best time to visit southern Vietnam?

The dry season from December to April is the most comfortable. From May to November there are short, heavy afternoon showers, but tours run all year. Da Lat stays cool year-round, while Nha Trang's wettest months are usually October to December.

6. Are your tours private?

Yes. Every tour is private, with your own English-speaking guide and car, halal meals pre-booked and an itinerary that can be changed to suit your dates.
