• From November to March the north-east wind blows strongly in Mui Ne; sand can sting on the dunes, so sunglasses and a light scarf are useful.
• Notre-Dame Cathedral has been under restoration since 2017 and the work is expected to continue to 2027 or later, so we see it from outside only.
• From May to November, short afternoon showers are common in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta; a light raincoat is more practical than an umbrella on the boats.
