• The Cao Dai Holy See holds four ceremonies a day (6:00, 12:00, 18:00 and midnight); we time day 3 for the noon ceremony, which is why we leave at 7:30 am for the drive of about 2.5–3 hours to Tay Ninh.
• The Independence Palace opens 7:00 am–6:00 pm, so with a morning arrival day 1 starts there before the midday heat.
• Notre-Dame Cathedral is under restoration expected to run to 2027 or later, so it is seen from the outside.
• Duong Ba Trac Street is about 20–30 minutes by car from the city centre depending on traffic; bring small notes in Vietnamese dong for the local shops and markets.
