Halal Restaurants in Da Lat 2026: 6 Checked Places, Prayer Rooms and the Only Certified Kitchen

Where can Muslim travellers eat halal in Da Lat? In five halal-only kitchens, most of them in Xuan Huong ward in the town centre, a short walk or taxi ride from Xuan Huong Lake and Da Lat Market. They serve Malaysian, Indonesian and halal Vietnamese dishes and four of them have a prayer room. Only one, Fatimah Restaurant, holds a current certificate from Halal Vietnam (HVN). For Indian food, Sagar Indian Cuisine advertises halal meat but serves beer and wine. There is no mosque in Da Lat. This guide lists the halal restaurants in Da Lat that we checked in October 2026, ranked by Tripadvisor and Google Maps ratings, with the halal status, address, hours and map link for each.

Last checked: October 2026 by the Saigon Muslim Tours team, who book halal meals for our guests in the Central Highlands. Heading to the coast next? See our guides to halal restaurants in Nha Trang and halal restaurants in Mui Ne.

How We Checked and Ranked These Restaurants

Several Indian and Middle Eastern restaurants in Da Lat use the word “halal” online but serve alcohol or make no halal statement themselves. We only list a restaurant when it is Muslim-run, holds a halal certificate, or states that all its food is halal, and when nothing we found contradicts that. We left out restaurants that have closed since the pandemic, such as D’Halal and Kampung Pandan, and old addresses that are still copied from blog to blog.

In October 2026 we searched the public register of Halal Vietnam (HVN) for every certificate in Lam Dong province. Fatimah Restaurant is the only Da Lat restaurant on it; the other Lam Dong entries are tea, vegetable and drinks producers. You can search the HVN certificate register yourself. Restaurants are ranked by Tripadvisor rating first, then Google Maps rating. None of the five halal-only kitchens is listed on Tripadvisor yet, so they are ranked by Google Maps.

Halal Restaurants in Da Lat, Ranked by Rating

1. Halal Food Dalat Hajah Hawa

The best-rated halal restaurant in Da Lat on Google Maps, on a small slope beside Cherry Hotel, a short walk from the town centre. Two floors seat about 40 to 50 guests, so it is a favourite for Malaysian and Indonesian tour groups; the seafood hotpot is the dish to share on a cold Da Lat evening. There is a prayer room. It belongs to the same owners as the Hajah Hawa halal restaurants in Sapa, in northern Vietnam: the Da Lat restaurant and the Hajah Hawa branch at Sapa Market share the same phone number.

  • Address: 27 Ho Tung Mau Street, Xuan Huong – Da Lat ward

  • Opening hours: 07:00–22:00 daily

The most-reviewed halal restaurant in Da Lat, central and walkable from Da Lat Market and the Night Market. It serves halal versions of Vietnamese favourites, from beef pho to rice with beef and mushrooms, plus Malaysian dishes. Reviews are mixed: some praise the nasi lemak as better than at home in Malaysia, others found the food disappointing. It is a spacious dining room with a musolla (prayer room) and parking, but it often caters to tour groups, so call before you go.

Halal Food at Lien Khuong Airport and Da Lat Hotels

We found no halal food outlet at Lien Khuong Airport, about 30 km south of the town, and no hotel in Da Lat with a confirmed halal kitchen. Hotels can usually serve eggs, fruit and bread at breakfast; for other meals, plan to eat at the restaurants above, or order from them to your hotel through Grab or by phone.

Practical Tips for Eating Halal in Da Lat

  • Call ahead in the evening. Most halal kitchens close between 20:00 and 22:30, and Fatimah and some others focus on tour groups.
  • Be careful at the Night Market. Grilled skewers, banh trang nuong (grilled rice paper) and many soups contain pork or pork-based sauce. Soy milk, sweet potatoes, corn and fruit are safe snacks.
  • Bring layers. Da Lat sits at about 1,500 m, and evenings are cool all year, so a hotpot dinner is a local favourite.
  • Pick fruit, not wine. Strawberry farms and the flower gardens are good family stops; note that Da Lat wine is sold at many market stalls.
  • Stay central. A hotel near Xuan Huong Lake or Da Lat Market puts you within walking distance of three of the five halal kitchens.
