How We Checked and Ranked These Restaurants
Nha Trang has many Russian and Central Asian restaurants, and a “halal” tag online does not always mean the kitchen is halal. We only list a restaurant when it is Muslim-run, holds a halal certificate, or states that all its food is halal, and when nothing we found contradicts that, such as pork on the menu. We left out restaurants that have closed, those whose halal claim came only from old blogs, and Indian and seafood restaurants that serve beer and make no halal claim.
In October 2026 we searched the public register of Halal Vietnam (HVN) for every certificate in Khanh Hoa province. Casa Di Mare is the only Nha Trang restaurant on it; the other entries are seafood and food factories. You can search the HVN certificate register yourself. Restaurants are ranked by Tripadvisor rating first, then Google Maps rating. Ratings change, so check the latest reviews before you go.

Halal Food at Vinpearl and the Island Resorts
Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang on Hon Tre island runs a restaurant called Halal Vietflavors, which the resort says follows halal standards; it does not name a certifying body. Reviews are few, and one alleges a pork dish was served, so confirm the menu with the resort before you rely on it. Inside the VinWonders theme park there is no halal outlet; the park allows guests to bring a small box of halal food, so pack a meal from SAHIN or Vostochny Uyut.

Practical Tips for Eating Halal in Nha Trang
- Know the pork dishes. Nem nuong Ninh Hoa (grilled meat rolls), the famous local speciality, is pork. Banh can (small rice pancakes) can come with pork too.
- Seafood restaurants are not halal. They are a pork-free option, but ask for no lard, no pork stock and no rice wine in the sauce, and remember the grills are shared.
- Book island-tour lunches in advance. Hon Mun and four-island boat trips serve a seafood lunch at a fishing village. Ask the operator for a pork-free, alcohol-free meal, or bring a takeaway.
- Dress for the temples. Cover knees and shoulders at Po Nagar and Long Son Pagoda; cover-ups are available at the entrance.
- Stay central. Hotels on Tran Phu beach road or in the Nguyen Thien Thuat quarter put you within walking distance of five of the seven restaurants above.
